RE: I hope Osama gets elected so we can have more of this?

Rev, why bother. They will vote against the pubs anyways. I am not the biggest McCain fan but look at the situation. They will never, never, ever bend on this. Nothing, true or not will make these mopes realize what they are backing.
PLEASE Look at Chicago, Cook county politics before you put this clown in office. P......L.....E......A.......S......E!!!!!!!!!!!
They will not, they re too blinded by the last couple of years of problems created by that dumkunt pelosi, but blaming the pubes.
It was Bush's watch it must be Bush's fault.
Did'nt you know Obam was the savior?

RE: Make believe Maverick

The anti-pork watchdog group Citizens Against Government Waste president told factcheck that he didn't know of any instance in which McCain had asked the Senate Appropriations Committee for an earmark. But there have been three times in the past, in 1992, 2003, 2006, when McCain may have requested, or been influential in securing, an earmark. No definitive evidence was ever found.
Furthermore, CAGW has maintained congressional scorecards going back to 1991 rating how lawmakers have voted on earmarks and other government transparency issues. McCain scored 95 percent for his work in the 109th (2005-2006) Congress. He has an 88 percent lifetime rating, which qualifies him as a "taxpayer hero," according to the group.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
McCain Falsely Claims He Has ‘Never Asked For A Single Earmark Or Pork Barrel Project’ For His State»
Watch it:
McCain’s claim is false. In 2006, the senator teamed up with fellow Arizona senator Jon Kyl (R) to funnel $10 million toward the University of Arizona for an academic center named after the late Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist. Even Arizona lawmaker, Rep. Jeff Flake (R), said he was planning to “lean against the measure.” The National Taxpayers Union, another traditional McCain ally, questioned why the senator was making federal taxpayers foot the bill for the center.
FACT
This wasn’t pork because it wasn’t slipped into some bill in the dead-of-the-night, but was a separate piece of legislation. As a separate authorizing bill (that died in committee), it doesn't meet CAGW's definition of pork
In 2003, McCain also slipped $14.3 million into a defense appropriations bill to create a buffer zone around Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. As Roll Call reported in 2003, this project violated McCain’s own anti-pork rhetoric:
FACT
McCain sought approval for the project in the 2004 defense authorization bill. Later that month, Roll Call ran a correction, saying that McCain hadn't violated his own rules and that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, chair of the appropriations committee, said McCain didn't ask her to put the project in the appropriations legislation.
Hey 440? Spin time!

RE: I hope Osama gets elected so we can have more of this?

And was Kevin Hassett ever a CEO of a large financial institution which went bankrupt?? No! And how about Obama's advisors like Franklin Raines who headed Fanny Mae or Penny Pritzker his finance chairwoman who headed Superior bank which also collapsed? And they pocketed tens of millions of cash which Joe taxpayer is now paying for. His life history revolves around radicals, crooks, and thieves. And he still associates himself with many of them.
i heard Obama and Bin Laden play checkers on Sunday nights!
Oh my goodness! what will we do??????
The old throw shyt to the wall scare tactics ain't workin anymore fuzznuts-so forget it.
You are the most loyal lib here, blind as hell to the chaos your boy osama brings.

MC,
Have you seen me endorse mcsaim other than saying I choose him as the lesser of the evils?
And it is not just the pubes saying that the dems blocked that legislation in a partisan move.

I hope Osama gets elected so we can have more of this?

Dems failed to act on the housing crisis, Shrub isnt good for much but he tried.
go ahead and spin libby sheep
Even slick willy says dems need to accept some responsibilitySlick Willy
And for MC
clickety
But the bill didn't become law, for a simple reason: Democrats opposed it on a party-line vote in the committee, signaling that this would be a partisan issue. Republicans, tied in knots by the tight Democratic opposition, couldn't even get the Senate to vote on the matter.
That such a reckless political stand could have been taken by the Democrats was obscene even then. Wallison wrote at the time: ``It is a classic case of socializing the risk while privatizing the profit. The Democrats and the few Republicans who oppose portfolio limitations could not possibly do so if their constituents understood what they were doing.''
Mounds of Materials
Now that the collapse has occurred, the roadblock built by Senate Democrats in 2005 is unforgivable. Many who opposed the bill doubtlessly did so for honorable reasons. Fannie and Freddie provided mounds of materials defending their practices. Perhaps some found their propaganda convincing.
But we now know that many of the senators who protected Fannie and Freddie, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Christopher Dodd, have received mind-boggling levels of financial support from them over the years.
Oh, and there is one little footnote to the story that's worth keeping in mind while Democrats point fingers between now and Nov. 4: Senator John McCain was one of the three cosponsors of S.190, the bill that would have averted this mess.

RE: Make believe Maverick

Lainie, Obama, your man of change, has been a senator for 941 days and during those 941 days he has requested 937 million dollars in earmarks/pork barrel spending. That is just under 1 million dollars for every day that he has been a senator!
McCain has been a senator for 7945 days and during those 7945 days he has requested ZERO in earmarks, nada in pork barrel spending. That is 0 dollars for everyday that he has been a senator.
Now who walks the walk and who talks the talk....?????? LOL
Must be lies, you racist, Osama walks on water, he is for change,
there saved all you pathetic lib lovers the time.

RE: Sarah is holding her own so far

These two should be the presidential candidates.
I thought she beat him up on seeming more like a common American.
I think you-and every other pub on this board- heard what they wanted to hear.
She repeated evrything she said on sean hannity's show yesterday word for word. Spouted talking points when lost. Was told to sound 'folksy'
overcoached trained seal. I almost felt sorry for her.
looked like a robot-hard to watch.
at least we now know she'll never be an actress either.
You can find bad in everything said by anyone with a different opinion than you.
I have never claimed to be a republican, I am in fact voting for Mcsaim so your junkie racist hero does not make it into the white house, end of fukking story dude.
I am a member of the Constitution Party, not the fukkin pubs or dems. Both parties are dirty, if you think otherwise than you are bigger numbnuts than you act.
